Good morning P7, your daily exercise could be part of this morning’s writing if you get a parent’s permission or a parent to accompany you.

Here is today’s Literacy Work:

Some of you may have heard about the Aliens that landed in Livingston 40 years ago but do you believe it?  Research everything you can about it and write your own newspaper report.  There is a video of the man describing what happened and some websites to get you started but you will find more materials using a search engine.  A visit to the landing site would be a good part of your research if a parent is willing to walk with you – there is a pdf map that shows you how to get there.

I am including a PPT which tells you what you need to do to write a newspaper report, a success criteria checklist which you should use to make sure you include everything you need in your writing and a Newspaper template.  The template can be used, or you can just use paper/jotter or you can type it into Word or if you have your own creative way you want to make it, that’s fine to.
