Last week we introduced the concept of Distance, Speed, Time. There are 3 rules to learn that let you work them out. This website has a little refresher for you.

2b – you now have a mix of SDT so you’ll have to decide which formula to use. As long as you read the questions carefully.
Today you are going to use either D = S x T T = D/S S = D/T
3a – you have to interpret graphs and then use the SDT calculations to work out the answers.
Calculators are allowed when working out Distance, Speed, Time.
Today’s Literacy Work
You have a few different options for literacy today. Below is a link to a short animation called ‘Francis’ – once you have watched it you can go onto the task mat and decide which of the tasks linked to the clip you would like to do. There are 8 in total and we would ask that you try to do a minimum of 2.
