Good Afternoon Primary 7,
We hope you enjoyed the chance to create some persuasive writing and wonder if you show your parents your writing if it will work though you need to remember that things are tough for people at the moment – maybe you need to take a pocket money cut!
Here are your answers for the patterns/sequence work in maths this morning.

Today’s IDL Work:
We are continuing with our Location, Location, Location topic. We will be looking over the coming weeks at the different lad features of the two countries, and today we are finding out about rivers. Your challenge is to find the longest river in Scotland and in Canada – you have to find out all you can about them.
Where are they? Can you find them on a map?
How long are they?
Where is the river source and mouth?
What sort of fish and wildlife live in it?
The difference in length between the 2
What different things are they used for? (fishing, watersports, tourism etc.)
The links below should give you a starting point for finding out some of this information.

You can complete your mountain comparison on a word document or in your home learning jotter
Today’s Music Work:
Bagpipes are well known as a Scottish instrument but other countries also use them and even have different versions of them. Pipe bands are a big thing – not just here in Scotland but also in Canada.
Your task today is to find out some information about Bagpipes and Pipe Bands and create a PowerPoint, or some other form of presentation, to share your learning.
Here is a place to start:

Remember to share your learning on your Blogs.
