Good Morning P7, hope you are well rested and ready for the day ahead.

Why don’t you start your morning with a little bit of Number Talks, this will help to get your brain going and ready for all your learning.

This morning there will be no Mild, Spicy and Hot maths instead there are 2 problem solving activities to choose from. It is up to you which one you decide to do – and if you enjoy the first one so much you can always complete the second.

In each section there will be a different set of questions using the skills that we have worked on over the year, use these to help you solve the problem.

As usual, answers till be posted this afternoon!

Your literacy task today is writing. We would like you to create an instructional piece of writing, in this case a recipe. Think of something delicious that you can make around Easter time – hot cross buns, nest cakes etc and create your own version of a recipe. Imagine that your recipe is going to end up in a special Easter Cookbook, it must be easy to follow, have clear steps and could even feature a nice picture of the finished product.

Hopefully yesterday you were able to try out the quiz, this gave a starting point for how to write instructions. If you didn’t have a chance to look here is the link – perhaps try this out before you get started,

Below is an example of what a good recipe and a bad recipe look like to give you an idea of presentation, hopefully you will be able to tell which is which!

Your second tasks of the day will be posted around 12.15 – keep up the good work!!
