World Book Day 2020

We celebrated World Book Day today in school.  We took part in lots of different activities in our classrooms.  We had lots of “Drop Everything and Read” times where Mrs Egan rang the bell and everyone had to stop what they were doing and read until the bell rang again!  Mrs McLaughlin and Mrs McKissack visited classes to see the fantastic wooden spoon characters that the children had worked on at home.  A huge thank you to all children and families who took the time to complete this activity.

Mr McGurn and the Mini Vinnies held their recycled book sale and managed to raise a fabulous £150 for our Lenten Appeal.  This year we will be donating to SCIAF.

Many thanks to all parents and carers for your ongoing support of school activities and initiatives.
