Primary one met the f and the b sound this week and were working hard at counting numbers up to 20, grouping 10 first and then counting the rest. The pupils all listened really well during our number talks and we practised saying how we reached our answer. Sam amazed his teacher by remembering that ‘ feart’ meant scared when we were practising our song for the Scottish assembly coming up.
Highlights from the children:
Hannah: ‘My favourite part of the week was making boats with our buddies’.
Julia: ‘ I liked playing with the blocks’.
Caelan: ‘ I liked playing in the area, playing dogs with Ailsa’.
Aaron: ‘ I liked doing the f and b task today because Miss Smith was pleased with me because I did it all by myself’.
Ignacy: ‘ I liked practising our Donald Wheres Your Trooser”s’ song.
Sophia: ‘ I liked making the paper boats.’
Ben : ‘ I tidied up so much and actually Miss Smith gave me points for doing that so well.’.
Lily: ‘ I liked playing in the kitchen’.
Mason: ‘ I liked playing with the books outside’.
Pixie: ‘ I liked playing in the house’.
