Good morning Primary 1! The sun is shining again!
For your learning today try these activities:
Time
Try logging onto your education city, on your account you should see I have assigned two tasks to help you learn about the days of the week. One is a video the other is a game. Play these to help you learn the days of the week and then try the attached activity below.
If you cant print this off use your jotter to record your answers.
Number
Select one or two activities from your Homework grid and record your work in your jotter.
Literacy
Complete one of your colourful consonant read, spell, write task cards.
Listen to the story ‘Lost and Found’ using the link below
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cRAAQ8EWzig
Now think back to the story, tell it back to someone at home in your own words and then draw a detailed picture of your favourite part. Under your drawing write one or two sentences to retell this part of the story in your own words. Remember to think about capital letters, spacing and full stops.
For some exercise remember you can try taking part in Joe Wicks daily lesson or just get outside in the garden.
Have a good day!

Maths task
A good way of estimating a length is to measure it with part of your body:
Try using your hand span, length of your feet, arm span or footsteps to estimate length of various items around your house or garden.
Draw and record some of the estimated lengths in your jotter.
Log into Education city and select some of the activities set for you.
Science – First
Granny’s Garden
Investigate some of things you have growing in your garden and think about what they need to survive.

Good morning everyone!
You could start the day with Joe Wicks.
It looks like it will be another sunny day so it would be good if we could do some outdoor learning in your garden.
You could go on a bug hunt, watch the birds or find out what is growing in your garden.
Literacy Task
Go out to your garden and look around. What can you see? hear? smell?
Write a description of your garden using your senses in your jotter.
Draw a picture of your garden.
Remember to do your IDL today.

Maths
You can do numeracy on IDL or Education City.
We are also going to focus on your measuring skills.
Find 10 different objects and sort them according to size from shortest to longest.
Think about jobs people do where they need to measure and why it is important. Think about what could go wrong if they didn’t have good measuring skills !
Write or draw pictures in your jotter.
