Music

Today’s music video is linked to our African Topic. Watch and learn about a variety of African style instruments. Think about what they are made from, how they are played and what they sounds like.

After watching the video you could look around the house for things that can be used to sound like some of the instruments that you saw or use recycled materials to design and make your own instrument.

Art

Here is an image of traditional African Jewelry made from beads. Some colours have special meanings. Look closely at the colours and patterns. They are very bright and eye catching.
