Be Your Best

Primary 1 Friday 1st May

It has been a fun week in Primary 1. We have been talking about our classroom and thinking about the opportunities we have for play, what areas we like best and those we would like to change.

Tickled Pink

  • We have been learning about numbers and how to make them by adding on from 10, for example 10 + 6 = 16
  • We have been learning to identify coins and add them to make a total
  • We have been making words with letters
  • We have been learning about the parts of the plants – roots, stem, leaves and flower and what each part does.

Green for Growth

  • We are working on our school value, be responsible, we are trying hard to keep our classroom tidy after we play, making sure everything returns to where it belongs.
  • We will be continuing to work on our reading next week and new books will be issued.

Have a lovely weekend
