We have had a very positive start to Term 3 and it has been lovely to welcome the children back to school. Many have come in this week cheerful and settled, clearly happy to be reunited with their friends and ready to return to the familiar routines of school life.
Across the school, classes are beginning to plan their next learning blocks, and children are being actively involved in these discussions by sharing their interests, questions and ideas about what they would like to learn next. This helps ensure that learning is engaging, relevant and shaped by the children themselves.
With the weather gradually improving, we are hopeful that we will be able to make increased use of the field and outdoor spaces, giving children more opportunities for outdoor learning and play.
Today, we also held our Hub group sessions, where children worked together to develop key skills and contribute ideas linked to school improvement. Our Health and Wellbeing (HWB) group has already begun planning for an upcoming Health Week, which we look forward to sharing more details about in due course.
A more detailed Newsletter for this term has now been sent out to families, and we hope it provides a helpful overview of what lies ahead.

Honeycomb challenge results: P3/4 won the Honeycomb challenge in Term 2 and have chosen to have a PJ day with a movie in school on Friday 24th April. Children in P3/4 are welcome to dress in PJ’s or dress down on this day and bring a small comfort toy to watch the movie with, if they wish to do so.

Milkshake Monday and Values Raffle Tickets will continue this term, next week I look forward to sharing an update on these aspects of our above and beyond strategies.

Have a lovely weekend everyone
