Tickled Pink:

  • In outdoor learning, we blindfolded our partners and led them around the woods. They had to feel different objects in the woods and identify them based on texture and size.
  • We have enjoyed working with the Xcite leaders on Basketball over the last couple of weeks. We have been working on chest and bounce passes.
  • We’ve been finishing up our pom-poms that we have been weaving as well as our marble runs and puppet shows this week. We’re excited to show these off to the nursery next week.

Green for growth:

  • We need to continue to work on listening in P.E. and watching were we are swinging our rackets and serving the shuttlecocks so we are avoiding hitting others.
  • We have been working on adding adverbs, adjectives, conjunctions and fronted adverbials into our writing by uplevelling sentences and identifying these in an orientation. We found it a little tricky to bring these features into our own writing, but we will keep working on this.

Our lead learners this week are Ruaridh and Ben.
