Tickled Pink

  • For topic this week we were learning about farming and where different foods come from. The children worked collaboratively to sort foods into the correct group and then enjoyed playing with some farm animals and making their own farms.

  • For outdoor learning this week we took part in a bug hunt. The children had a container with a magnifying glass as a lid – this helped them to see the bug up close. We found lots of worms, slugs, woodlouse and one centipede.

  • For buddy time this week we enjoyed reading to our buddies! The P1/2s done fantastic with their reading and then the P6/7s challenged them to a tricky word hunt in the book before drawing their favourite part of the story.

Green for Growth

  • In maths we have started looking at money, learning all of the different coins. We done a coin rubbing activity and some children found this a bit tricky.
  • During our French lesson we were learning about the country France. We found out lots of information and some children found it a bit tricky to remember the key facts.

Our Lead Learners are Miah and Ernest!

Have a lovely weekend,

Mrs Wallace
