Topic in P6

This week primary 6 have been researching and taking notes on the topic of evacuation. They have been learning to identify key facts, put information into their own words and use headings. They are using this information to create a 3d poster in groups. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed learning about children in the war and comparing this with their own life.

Maths Week With Primary 2/3

Primary 2/3 had great fun working like mathematicians during maths week. As a class we spoke about some of the skills you need to be a mathematician, made a plan to start and then shared our findings. We used our growth mindset to tackle a well known maths problem called ‘Bridges of Konigsberg’. The children thoroughly enjoyed exploring the different ways they could approach the problem and were keen to share their learning with each other.

Primary 4/5

Primary 4/5 have been learning about school values this week.  We have been working very hard on our assembly and we are looking forward to sharing our learning with you on Monday morning.
