Discovery Landing story time

Good morning boys and girls! Hope you are safe and well at home. Today, I’d like you to focus on Reading. Choose a story or novel to read at home. You can also use your school reading book. Try to describe the main character of the book. Remember to include what the main character looks like (his/her appearance) and describe their personality. Make sure you use evidence from the text.
Continue practising your spelling words on the Spelling Wall. If you can read the word confidently then give it a tick. Once you have 3 ticks colour the box. In Maths, choose and complete one of the worksheets from the pack (multiplication or division task). Try to make an information poster about Scotland as well.

Good Morning Discovery Landing! Today’s target task is to write down the alphabet. Next to each letter try to write down an animal that starts with that letter. Once you’ve done animals you could try girls names/boys names/food etc. Challenge a family member to a race. Have fun! Remember to stay indoors and stay safe. Complete some work from your packs every day. Check in again later for a story.
