Primary 7 from Riverside and Letham travelled to PGL, Dalguise. We landed and lugged our luggage up the hill to our dorms before having our lunch in the beautiful Perthshire sunshine. We then joined our mixed groups with Harrysmuir, Toronto, Livingston Village and Peel before taking part in a variety of activities.
P6 Buddy Training Day
Our Primary Six pupils have been busy this week training to become buddies for the new Primary One children starting after the summer holidays. They’re learning how to be kind, responsible and supportive, helping our youngest pupils feel like they belong and feel safe in both of our schools. We’re proud of their enthusiasm and know they’ll make great role models.
A Big Moment for Our P7s – Leavers Hoodies Are Here 🎉
It’s that time of year again when things start to feel very real for our Primary 7 pupils – the countdown to high school has officially begun, and what better way to mark this exciting chapter than with their very own leavers hoodies!
Our joint school assembly was full of proud smiles and excitement, have a look at the pictures below.
Farewell to The Queen Of Craigshill!
As we say goodbye to Mrs. Mullen, we want to express our deepest gratitude for everything she has done for our school community. Known fondly as the Queen of Craigshill, her retirement has been celebrated in true royal fashion—with not just one event, but a season of appreciation!
For the past five years, Mrs. Mullen has been a guiding light at Riverside and Letham PS, greeting children every morning with warmth and making everyone feel welcome and valued. She embodies our Craigshill Schools values—belonging, kindness, respect, and creativity.
Whether solving challenges with grace, spreading joy through her infectious energy, or ensuring everything runs smoothly, she has been an irreplaceable part of our team. Her dedication, positivity, and unwavering support for both staff and students will leave a lasting legacy.
Although we will miss her dearly, we know this is not goodbye—just see you soon.
Thank you, Mrs. Mullen, for being the heart of our school. You will always have a special place in our Craigshill family.
Rhyme of the Month
As we continue to learn about Spring, we have chosen our April ‘Rhyme of the Month’ – 5 little daffodils. The children have been creating their own interpretations of daffodils through various art activities which they have proudly displayed alongside our rhyme.
Through this rhyme, the children have been exploring and developing their number recognition 0-5 forward and backwards.
