What a week for our Passport of Experiences!

Primary 5 and 6 pupils at Letham were lucky to visit Sky Academy in Livingston to create their own news reports on Natural Disasters Climate Change. Pupils prepared their topics in class and then worked in 4 different groups to put together a news report.

Primary 1 were excited to have some visitors. Two pupils brought in butterflies and we spent time learning about the life cycle of a butterfly

.

P2/3, P3, P3/4 and P4 at Riverside had a great outing on Thursday to Polkemmet Country Park. Time was spent playing at the park, building dens, exploring the local area and having lots of fun.

Sports Day

We are incredibly fortunate to have the amazing Mrs. Jagla working with pupils across both schools. Her energy, organisation, and dedication made Sports Day a fantastic experience for everyone involved. We also have amazing P7s who helped at both events. Great job everyone!

Dynamic Earth Trip

On  Wednesday, Primary 1 and Primary 1/2 from Riverside had an exciting trip to Dynamic Earth. We enjoyed a Dinosaur Story Telling Workshop followed by a hands on experience exploring Fossils and replicas of Dinosaur claws, teeth and horns. In the afternoon, we travelled in the Time Machine to explore the first living things. Our favourite parts of the day included experiencing an erupting volcano, touching a real iceberg and finishing with a 3D movie.

P7 Camp- Friday

WHAT A WEEK!

All the staff want to say how proud they were of all the children.

They pushed themselves out their comfort zone, developed resilience, tried new things but most importantly made new friends!

Thanks PGL for hosting us and providing a wonderful experience!
