I saw this shadow drawing idea earlier and thought it looked like fun! I definitely know some children in my class that will love doing this! We’d love to see your finished masterpieces!

Here’s some relaxing mindfulness. Rainbow Waterfall
Any problems just comment and I can get back to you.
Discovery Landing
I saw this today and just had to share it with you all!
Every time we wish we could do something, go somewhere, treat ourselves, see someone we love, visit a new place, invite people to visit us, we’re going to write it down on a post it note and put it in a jar. When all this is over this will be our bucket list and we’ll work our way through the jar and be more grateful than ever for the little and lovely things in our lives. Until then we’ll enjoy watching the jar fill up with magical things to look forward to 🦄🦖🏖👵🏼 🧚♂️🧜♀️🧞♂️🏃🌈🤿⛸🎭🤹♂️🩰🎨🎸✈️🎢🏟
Array Challenges
This week in primary 2/3 we were introduced to arrays to help us solve multiplication problems. We were learning to first describe and talk about an array and then got a chance to work with a partner to complete some array challenges both outside and inside in the classroom. We spoke about the importance of making sure that each column had the same number and that each row should have the same number. We learnt that this meant that they would be equal.
P2/3 weekly update
This week we were very excited when we came into class on Thursday morning to find there was a green screen attached to our large whiteboard. We curiously explored underneath thinking something was hidden but we later found out its purpose. During our reading lesson we used Ipads and the green screen to video record our connections. When we looked back at the recordings on the Ipad we were speaking against the back drop from our reading book. In writing we used a picture of the Isle of Struay on the Ipads and recorded ourselves in front of the green screen convincing people to come visit. This time when we looked back at our recording it was like we were in the Isle of Struay.
In topic we have been using national geographic map maker in our ‘families’ to create our own Island and label the human and physical features. We are really enjoying this and love using technology to help us with our learning!
