Good morning boys and girl! Hope you had a lovely weekend. Have a look through your pack and choose activities to do today.  Try to do at least one spelling, reading and numeracy activity today. Remember, you can use Sumdog for maths, reading and spelling activities.

P 4/5 have been learning to use ‘split’ and ‘jump’ strategies to add and subtract numbers.  In writing, we have started to work on news articles. We have also been learning about ‘real’ and ‘pretend’ reading.

P 4/5 have been working on their book corner this week. In Maths, we have been learning to use different strategies in addition.  We had lots of fun mixing sugar icing and decorating our own biscuits.

P 4/5 have been learning to add and subtract numbers using different strategies this week. In writing, we focused on using interesting adjectives in a text and worked hard on cursive handwriting.
