Murrayfield is Famous!

After our visit from Sean Batty, The CourierĀ wrote an article featuring all the schools in West Lothian who took part in the STV Children’s Appeal. We are very pleased to see that our school raised the most out of the 9 in West Lothian who took part.

Congratulations Murrayfield! You have done yourself proud!

Bikeability

A huge thank you to everyone who has handed in donations and has returned all the forms that have been sent out!

Just a reminder for pupils to hand in their forms giving permission for their picture to be taken by STV! If we don’t have them then they can’t be in any pictures on Wednesday 4th October when Sean Batty visits us.

Bikeability Launch

As part of the Health and Wellbeing in our school we will be starting a Bikeability club in October.

To launch this club we will will be having a sponsored cycle on Monday 2nd October and Tuesday 3rd October to raise money for the STV Children’s Appeal.

Do not worry if your child does not have a bike. Lowport has kindly donated bikes and helmets for us to use at this event.

We will be able to give the money that we have raised to Sean Batty when he visits us on Wednesday 4th October to see what we have been doing for the STV Children’s Appeal.

He will also be judging our “Design a helmet” competition so make sure you get your entries in by Wednesday 27th September.

We appreciate your support in sending your child with their bike and helmet on the appropriate days.

Many Thanks
