Happy New Year!

Welcome back!

We hope everyone has enjoyed their first day back to school.

Please remember to support your child in being prepared for school by ensuring they have:

  • the appropriate school uniform
  • indoor shoes
  • a suitable winter weather jacket/coat
  • an indoor and outdoor gym kit
  • a school bag with pencil case and stationary items
  • completed and returned homework
  • an appropriate nutritional snack
  • a water bottle

Remember some children forget to pass on letters from school so regularly check school bags for ‘pupil mail’.  If you have changed your contact details over the holiday period please let us know.  Dates for your diary will be circulated at the beginning of this session, so look out for our newsletter and keep checking our school glow blog!

WINTER READY!

In the unlikely event of school closure, learning will continue through our school Glow Blog.  Let us know you have found our blog by sending us a comment.  You can add a comment (include your name) to this post and we will know you are accessing our Glow Blog.  Don’t hesitate to contact the school if you have any difficulties.

We look forward to hearing from you soon!

Please read the email we received from West Lothian Food Bank.
Thank you to Mrs Glynn and P4 for organising.  Well done everyone!!!
Dear Ms Macrae,
I am writing to thank you for donating your school’s Harvest Collection to the West Lothian Foodbank. The amount of food donated was an amazing 209 kgs (that’s a little bit less than quarter of a tonne!) – enough for about 496 meals.
Thank you to everyone who contributed; the food you gave made a real difference to people in crisis. I have attached a “Thank You” certificate and hope you will be able to display this in the school.
Thank you once again.

Sharing Our Learning

Thank you to everyone who came along to our first Sharing Our Learning session.  It was great to see so many parents/carers/grandparents and the children really enjoyed talking about their learning.

Supporting your child can make a difference in improving achievement and behaviour!

Next Sharing Our Learning session – Thursday 9th February (11-12pm/2-3pm)
