P 5/4 Visited Pets at Home this morning.
We have been learning about how to look after pets in class and we decided as a class that we would like to get a Pet Fish for the class.
During our visit to Pets at Home in Livingston today, a lovely man called Liam spoke to us about lots of different pets. We were allowed to pet some animals, such as a rabbit and guinea pig. Liam brought out a snake, frog and lizard for us also to have a look at. We fed all of the fish in the tanks and then we were lucky enough to be able to pick out our very own tank and fish for the class. This afternoon we have set up our tank, which we have to leave for 3 days, so that it will be ready for the fish to live in. Miss Hanlon will go back to the store to collect our fish for the tank.
We have all had a lovely day and we cannot thank Liam and Pets at Home enough for all of their help today.
