P5 news

P5 worked on creating their learning pit display and all look forward to sharing this with their parents during parents evening this week.

We worked in teams to create skeletons through using our knowledge of the various names of the bones in the skeleton.

Did you know we have 300 bones when we are born but on 206 when we are fully grown?

P5 tried their hand at drawing skeletons through using Bo -jangles as a model (still life)

We used our knowledge of mathematical language to describe 3D shapes to our friends using terms such as faces, vertexes, base and edge.

A huge congratulations to Lana Campbell and Brandon Harkins for being runners up in the Year of Robotics design competition.
