Pumpkin Carving

We were joined in the Language Centre by our friends from the P1 classes yesterday.  Together we learnt more about where pumpkins grow and compared their colours and sizes using Clicker.  Next we sequenced picture cards to learn how to carve a pumpkin.  The fun part was scooping out the flesh and seeds and carving a face into the pumpkin flesh.  Finally we sang a song together about pumpkins before enjoying some pumpkin soup at snack time.

  1. Now that’s what I call a tasty learning experience! Well done to everyone who collaborated in the pumpkin carving.
