March Newsletter
Dear Parent/Carer,
Another term has passed back so quickly. It has been an extremely busy term in the school and nursery. The focus of our learning has been centred around the Healthy Families Healthy Children project. Throughout the school there has been a progression of learning around the importance of a balanced diet as well as the importance of exercise. Each class has made a business link with some visits continuing into next term. Many thanks to the parents/carers who came along to the open morning at the start of March.
I wish you all a very relaxing Spring break.

Well Done Aidan!
Massive congratulations to Aidan in P4/3 who won ‘Webkinz Tiger’ following his successful birthday guess of March 17th.
Aidan said ”I am happy to have won the tiger, I really hoped I’d guess its birthday”.
Aidan’s teacher, Miss Kerr, commented ”I am delighted for Aidan. He made a few entries in the competition and he is a very worthy winner. Well done Aidan”.
A big thank you to everyone who took part in the competition. We have successfully raised enough funds to adopt a tiger and we have already begun to organise this. Watch this space!
St. Patrick’s Day Theme at Breakfast Club
This morning we had Breakfast Club with a difference to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Children had the opportunity to have potato bread – ‘tattie scone’, listen to Irish music and complete some crafts. Thank you to to Mrs Findlay and Mrs Walker for organising this for us.
