In Primary 3 this week our focus has been exploring Scots language as part of our Robert Burns topic. We enjoyed listening to the Gruffalo in Scots and we were able to translate some of the Scots words to understand the story. We used the description of the Gruffalo in the story to create a WANTED poster, but we had to give a description of the Gruffalo in Scots. It was lots of fun!
A highlight of our week has been learning how to sing head, shoulders, kneed and toes in Scots! We loved singing heid, shooders, knaps and taes and have become very good at it. Some of us have even been teaching our family at home!
