In PE, P7 have been practising our dancing skills through some ceilidh dances. This week, we did the Virginia Wheel. We were working on our collaboration and communication skills when working with our partners. Primary 7 have been working on our timing and our coordination.
P3/2 have been learning about transport from the past and present. On Thursday we visited the transport museum and had lots of fun comparing the transport from many years ago to now. We had a great day and have lots of new ideas for our class topic.
P6/5 have been using their knowledge of 3D objects to create some Christmas themed pictures on paint 3D. Can you spot which 3D shapes we have used?
We also made cubes and cuboids from their 2D nets in which we had to cut and fold it together to make it into its 3D form.
Our Primary 1s used their collaboration skills to explore to book ‘Gruffalo’s Child’. Primary 1 collaborated with the nursery to create Gruffalo cookies, Gruffalo tea (and biscuits!), Gruffalo crumble, and build the Gruffalo’s home using the construction blocks. This collaboration session allowed our pupils to be successful learners and confident individuals through supporting each other in activities. We had a super fun afternoon seeing our book come to life!
