This week, Primary 4 were playing different games to practise everything we have been learning in French this term. We practised reading and speaking the French phrases we have learned, including greetings, classroom objects and numbers to 50.

For our topic this term we have been learning about under the sea. We have researched the different oceans, the layers of the oceans and the creatures that live there. This week, we investigated under the sea food chains. We learned new vocabulary, producer, consumer, predator and prey to help us understand the different roles the creatures have in the food chain.

In Primary 4, we have been learning about tessellation. We have been investigating why some shapes can fit together to create patterns and other shapes. This week, we were learning how to make shapes with other shapes. The pupils were using their collaborating and communication skills working in their small groups. They were using critical thinking to come up with different ways to make a rhombus and a hexagon using different shapes.

This week, P4 went out to the forest with Kids Gone Wild. We had an amazing time looking and exploring at our surrounding, we then got to have a shot on the hammocks, the slack line and the rainbow net. We also had time to build a den or two. The class showed great communication and collaboration skills when working together to build dens.
