P3/2 and P2/1 Gardening

P3/2 and P2/1 have been building upon their collaborating skills during our Levenseat gardening project. We have been busy planting, digging, creating story spoons and stones to create a calm, relaxing garden area where all children in our school can go to read their favourite books. A huge thank you to our grown-ups that came to help us plant and dig – our garden is starting to look good! Miss Smith and Miss Topping read ‘Superworm’ to us using the story stones we created.

Buddies

P7 and P2/1 had some fun on Friday during collaborative PE. We used our communication and collaboration skills to play different parachute games and had lots of fun with our buddies!

P3/2 and P2/1 police visit

This morning we had a visit from the community police officers. We learned all about the role of a police officer, how they keep us safe and then we got to try on some of their uniform and kit.

Book Week Scotland

Primary One have really enjoyed celebrating Book Week Scotland! We have enjoyed reading the new books that were gifted to us.

We had a book adventure outside with our nursery friends. All of the pages of the Gruffalo book had blown all over the garden, we had to find them and sort them into the correct order before we could enjoy the story.

We loved having our parents in to stay and play with play opportunities linked to the books in Bookbug bags. Our favourite book was The Quickest Bedtime Story Ever!
