P3/2 and P4 have worked hard learning about Diwali and the story of Rama and Sita. Today they showcased their learning about Diwali and performed the story of Rama and Sita. Well done everyone! Happy Diwali!🪔

Our school were visited by the fire service to discuss fire safety and safety on Bonfire Night. We then got to go out and have a look at the fire truck. We learned lots of important things and had a lot of fun inside the fire truck.

We applied our knowledge of place value to complete a range of different activities. We collaborated in groups of 3 and rotated around each station applying our knowledge of partitioning numbers, ordering numbers, using dienes to make 3 and 4 digit numbers, greater than and less than.

P3/2 and P4 have been learning about Diwali ahead of their assembly on the 17th October. We learned Diwali is known as the festival as light, so we applied our creativity skills and created lanterns and Diya Lamps to display at our assembly. We are really excited to show our grown ups at home our learning.

P3/2 have loved learning outdoors this week. We have had a session with Rob at Kids Gone Wild (see previous post) and we have applied our learning to create shapes using sticks and leaves. We also made fun addition and subtraction games for our partners to solve.
