All classes have been celebrating disability awareness fortnight, learning about a range of disabilities and celebrating difference. Through our learning we have challenged stereotypes and developed an understanding of invisible disabilities. We have learned about the amazing and inspiring things achieved by disabled people. Today we had an assembly to share our learning, followed by a parade around the village, with banners to raise awareness.
