Good morning P3/2,

How is everybody this morning?  I hope you are all ready for another day of learning.

Below is the grid for today.  We have the last of our inferring sheets today and we are working on halves and doubles in maths.  In our topic we are going to learn a little about a very old type of toy but one that was not meant for children for a long time.  Finally we have some PE workouts to try. If you have not yet been on to Sumdog for the division challenge then please try to spend some time on that and I added new reading books yesterday so have a look at that if you have not been on since Monday.

Good morning P3/2,

The sun is shining and it looks like we might have another lovely day.  I heard from a few people that they had enjoyed a sports day at home.  If you did not have time yesterday then you could have one today instead of our PE on the grid.

Below is our grid for today.  We are going to do some more writing instructions in literacy and try to be really careful about the order you do things.  You need to be really specific in each instruction.  In numeracy this is our final day looking at fact families for now and in our history topic we are going to learn more about one of the world’s favourite toys.

I hope you are all well today and have been enjoying some of the sporty activities from the Sports Day grid!

Today we are carrying on with our work on money.  I hope you enjoy the suggestions – and have a go at the worksheets money jars – mild spicy hot.

I’ve put in the grid the instructions for playing Beans – which I know was one of our favourite games to play in PE.  That would be another sporty activity for today!  Don’t forget to share any photos in your Learning Journals!
