Glow was down last week so we didn’t get a chance to update our school blog.

Last week we got ready for our school Fayre. We priced books and toys and did some home baking which we priced on Friday morning. We used our money maths skills to run all the Christmas Fayre stalls. We had great fun and we raised  £194. 92. Thanks to all those who came to the Fayre for their support.

We continued with our World War 2 topic and found out about the reasons for and against the Treat of Versailles.

Katy Murray and Lucy Williamson’s poster won  and their prize was a fruit basket which the girls kindly shared with the class.

We had a spooky start to our week this week when everyone cam dressed up for Halloween on Monday and we had a Halloween parade.

  • On Monday afternoon we went over to Linlithgow Primary School to watch a show called ‘Up to Speed’ about a girl and a boy, Jade and Barnaby ,and what it’s like to be the odd one out. The show was very good and made us think about Children’s Rights and how we should treat everyone equally.
  • On Tuesday we were invited to St Kent’s to watch their amazing production of Les Mis. The show was fantastic and we were delighted to see that Niamh Mullholland and Ciara Fitzsimons had main parts. Their singing was out of this world. Michael Boyle performed with the orchestra. His trumpet playing was excellent. We think we have some budding stars of the future in P7. This show motivated us to work hard in music and drama.

  • In Maths we used symmetry to complete some tricky Halloween pictures
  • In Art we completed our Art Deco posters.
