Safari animals

P4 have been busy making African animals out of junk. Can you guess what materials they used? Take a look!

Logan was inspired by this corcodile skull to make a crocodile and a fantastic factfile.

Alicia made this great giraffe and Katie made this fab elephant.

Ellis made this lion, Ami made this sparkly snake and Keri made this elephant.

Sasha and Zoe worked hard to make the big snake out of old tights.

Andrew made this bendy snake, Eilidh and Rachel made this wild tiger from an egg box.

James used real fur to make this his giraffe (no animals were harmed during the making; the fur had already came off his rabbit!)

Melissa made this sparkly elephant from a milk bottle and Cara added bells to make this rattle snake.

Drumming

Drumming is very important throughout the world. We have been learning about drums as part of our topic on Africa, but if you watch this video you will find out lots of other drum facts.

The Cute Cheeky Monkey

One day a cute, cheeky monkey was swinging from the trees. All of a sudden the fluffy monkey falls! The monkey went ooh ooh ah ah. The monkey bumped her head and she thought the tree was water. She licked the tree and she got a nasty sharp splinter.

The Grumpy Rhino

The Grumpy Rhino by Logan

One day I went to the zoo and I saw a really grumpy rhino that was scaring all the other animals. The rhino was so bored he charged at a buffalo. The buffalo charged too because the rhino wanted to steal his water. BANG! The battle was on! The other animals were shouting at them saying “stop the fight!”

I ran to the zoo keeper and he stopped the fight. When the grumpy rhino realised what he had done he became a really nice rhino. I said, “that was nice.”
