The nursery doors opened for our  Grandparents on Thursday 20th September, and we were greeted by excited Grannies and Grandads who were looking forward to seeing their little angels! Our visitors enjoyed scrumptious homebaking donated by nursery parents, along with tea and coffee. Whilst enjoying their treats, they were shown a slideshow of a selection of children, explaining why they love their grandparents. It was a true heart-warmer, and was followed by the nursery children singing ‘You are my sunshine’ and ‘You cannae shove yer granny off a bus’.

The grandparents were then invited to spend time with their grandchildren, and the children truly enjoyed showing their Nanas and Papas what they do in nursery.
