7 of the eggs have hatched! It’s great to see the chicks growing everyday and the excitement as they get fed. Their next mission – flying!
- Mum coming back with food
- Chicks are ready for lunch
- Mum and Dad helping with the feeding

Primary 4 are the best!
I am so proud of Primary 4. In West Lothian’s Sumdog competition we came 10th out of over 400 classes and ……… On Wednesday we were the Daily winner.
Three of the class each got into the top 50 out of over 3000 pupils on one day with one pupil being 13th on the first day. 20 of the class took part and 8 got into the top 400. An amazing result.
Another day when starting my day with my Primary 4 team has been so cheering.
Well done everyone.
(And stay off the computers today!)

Hammer Process Art
The Upper School were given a hammer process art task recently to try out. This is where you collect some fallen flower heads and leaves and put them between two pieces of paper. You then use a hammer to gently tap the top piece of paper to squash the flowers and leaves. A colour print is left on the paper when you gently lift it off. I decided to give it a go myself with the fallen flowers in my garden. Here are my results.

National Gallery of Scotland
For any of you interested in Art, Mrs Stephenson found this link to fun family activities from the National Gallery of Scotland. I still have your competition entries which I can submit when lockdown lifts. They have now opened the competition to families too so perhaps you could submit a family entry. Copy and paste the link into your address bar to get access to some lovely activities.
