Primary 4 and Primary 5 have been uploading lots of artwork this week. I thought I would let you see some of them. Aren’t they brilliant?

The Upper School were given a hammer process art task recently to try out. This is where you collect some fallen flower heads and leaves and put them between two pieces of paper. You then use a hammer to gently tap the top piece of paper to squash the flowers and leaves. A colour print is left on the paper when you gently lift it off. I decided to give it a go myself with the fallen flowers in my garden. Here are my results.

Some of you have been given an activity this week to make a nature wand. We have been creating wizard staffs and stands for them. This is our wizard staff and it’s Sweet Pea stand.

I have made Dandelion Honey this week. Very tasty and a nice,fun activity to do with your children.
