JDRF Coffee Morning

A big thank you to all those who came along to support our JDRF coffee morning.  Kade and Erin helped to welcome visitors and make sure everyone had enough juice and biscuits!  We raised a total of £370 through the coffee morning, programme sales at the show and our dress down day.

Well done everyone!

Farewell to the Castles

Primary 4 have worked really hard this term researching life in a castle and the Scottish Wars of Independence. They have presented their knowledge by making posters, leaflets and Power Point presentations, giving talks and by writing stories and play scripts. They have also videoed plays and a puppet show and built beautiful castles.

I hope we can find a way to share our videos.

Text term we will visit Stirling Castle and Linlithgow Palace so lots more history to look forward to.

Euroquiz

On Friday, March 10th four of our Primary 6 pupils represented the school at the West Lothian heats of the Euroquiz 2017. This year our team was made up of Hannah, Paul, Stewart and Aidan. The pupils have been studying very hard learning about European countries and capital cities, artwork, landmarks and geographical features. The questions were very difficult and we are very proud of their hard work and enthusiasm. Well done!!
