P1 get a visit from Mrs Brown

Primary 1 had a lovely visit from Mrs Brown today. She brought old toys to show us and told us how to play with them.  Some of the toys were about 100 years old! Mrs Brown let us play with some of the toys as long as we looked after them.

Toys in the Past

Primary 1 had a visit from Maureen Liddell from West Lothian Museums. She brought along a variety of toys from the past.

Maureen told us all about the toys and showed us how they worked. She wore special gloves so she didn’t damage the toys.

We were allowed to play with some of the toys. We had great fun!

Emotion Works showcase

Thank you to everyone for coming along to our Emotion Works showcase, it was a very enjoyable evening.

It was really great to see all the children’s work displayed and to listen to your feedback. The children enjoy Emotion Works and we hope it continues to encourage them identify and discuss their own emotions.

Thanks again, Miss Jones and Miss Ross 🙂

P5 Spain topic

December 22, 2017 by Ms Martinez | 0 comments

P5 have really enjoyed their taste of Spain and experienced a range of things, from classic Spanish texts (Don Quixote) & art to classic Spanish foods. They applied impressive skills when doing their own research, presenting and model making. Muy bien, P5!
