For our inter-disciplinary learning afternoons we have been designing our own experiments to investigate the different states of water. We predicted the outcome and reported back our findings.

Primary 2 and Primary 3 Christmas Party
Primary 2 and Primary 3 have been learning Scottish dances (Gay Gordons, Military Two Step and Dashing White Sargeant). We applied our learning during our Christmas Party, we also had some tasty treats. We had lots of fun!

P4 bird feeders
We put bird seed and meal worms in them. Some blew off in last week’s high winds but Mrs McGuire rescued them. We have also been getting P2/3’s help to fill up the other bird feeders on the fence.

Healthy Eating
Primary 2/3, as part of their Health and Wellbeing topic, have been designing, making and tasting smoothies. In writing we looked at a range of recipes and made up a recipe card for our delicious smoothie.

Bird Feeding
P4 have started their campaign to keep the birds fed as the weather gets colder. Today they worked with P2/3 to add food to the bird tables and willow feeders outside the P2/3 classroom.
