A fabulous week in Primary 1!
We learned new skills in PE when doing Gymnastics with Miss Harris and football with Miss Jones. We have been learning about Scotland and we now know that there are 4 countries in the United Kingdom. Why not ask us at home if we can remember them? We also had a quick practise of how to highland dance.
Great Green: “What went well…”
-In Numeracy, we have been learning how to count in 2s. We were clapping and jumping to the beat to do this.
-In Maths, we have been practising how to tell the time on a clock using O’clock and half past. We can’t wait to tell the time at home!
-In Jolly Phonics, we have been working on the sound ‘oo’ and learning new words like hood, food, hoop, book, moon and School.
Think Pink: “Even better if…”
-To continue to practise writing our numbers the correct way.
-To continue to practise our Scots poem for next weeks competition.
Lead Learners:
This weeks lead learners did a great job, Hana and Isla looked for good tidying in the classroom. Thank you lead learners!
Our lead learners next week are Harris and Cody for showing responsibility in their own learning. They have been using the table top activities during Numeracy to practise their numbers and are always complimenting others when they do a good job in their own tasks. Well done!
