Primary 7 have had a busy first week back learning new skills in numeracy and literacy. The cold weather allowed us to undertake a science experiment outside but believe it or not it was not cold enough for it to work successfully.

Great Green (Things that went well)

  • Transition session with DCHS learning Spanish greetings.
  • Learning and applying mathematical language: multiples, factors, prime numbers, square numbers and square roots.
  • Creating and publishing winter poems.

Think Pink (Things we want to get better at)

  • Learning our Scottish poems.
  • Using Spanish within the classroom.
  • Creating narrative/imaginative stories.

This week our Lead Learners are Gokul and Millie who have consistently demonstrated the school values. Well done!

They have decided that next week the value they will be looking for is Respect.
