This week is National Maths Week and P5 have been exploring a number of different problems to get them thinking about maths a little differently.

We have been learning different strategies for problem solving such as working in teams and drawing the problem. We have also been looking at how we sometimes need to take our time to ensure we get the right result.

 

There are more fun activities planned in class for the rest of this week. The class are also participating in a country wide Sumdog competition and are currently in the top 300 out of several thousands of schools.
