Developing Creativity Through Loose Parts Play

Have you seen how creative we can be through Loose Parts Play?

We know that children are creative and innovative and Loose Parts Play can provide opportunities for them to explore, design, plan and build in multiple open-ended ways.

The materials used can be both natural and synthetic and can be moved, rotated, stacked, sorted, combined, taken apart and re-assembled without a prescribed plan.

It provides opportunities for children to explore their own creativity, innovation, problem solving and critical thinking.  It promotes independent learning and opportunities to represent learning in a variety of ways.

Have a look at what we’ve been doing so far and come in and join us during Stay, Learn and Play in January to develop your own creativity!
