P1 Reading

Morning P1,

I hope you are all well, we are missing you all so much and hope you are enjoying learning at home. Here is a word mat which has some words you already know and some new words for you to learn.  You could choose 5/6 words from the word mat and then select one of the activities from the spelling grid to do each day. Practice the same words for 1wk then choose a different 5/6 the next week.

Snow inspiration in P1a!

P1a have been making the most of the snow today by exploring how to create art in the snow.  There was lots teamwork and even more laughter!

The activities were child-led with a focus on discovery learning. If you look through the photos you will see evidence of colour-mixing, sculpture painting, dabbing, splatter painting, printing and shaping.

Can you spot where some of the children even made number dot patterns and wrote our ‘oo’ sound in the snow?
