Adverse Weather Information

It is Stirling Council policy that if school staff are unable to get to their usual place of work due to adverse weather conditions, they should attend their nearest school. This helps school to provide a continuous service for children and families if at all possible.

Parents and carers should check the Stirling Council website (www.stirling.gov.uk) for information relating to disruptions and school closures.

Central FM also announces school closures. During periods of severe weather parents and carers should listen to this service for information.

If a decision is taken to close the school, the text messaging service will be activated to inform parents and carers wherever possible.

It is important that the school has up to date contact details so we are able to get in touch with parents and carers if an emergency situation should arise.
