The following information represents broad timelines for where classes should be at various points in the year. At any given point an individual class may be slightly ahead of schedule or slightly behind – this is based on teacher judgement and will take into account the classroom teacher’s assessment of the need to consolidate certain aspects of learning with individual classes and pupils.

August- November Capital Punishment. Developing N4/5 skills in responding to moral issues- being able to analyse and evaluate responses to capital punishment.  
November- February Animal Issues. Further development of important RME skills including deeper analysis and evaluation. Using MTV skills to develop these skills further.
