Friends of Victoria Park

Friends of Victoria Park is a friendly, welcoming and supportive group of parents of our children.  It is not a parent council and instead is a more informal meeting of parents to help support our school.  The aim of Friends of Victoria Park are:

– Allows a supportive environment for parents of children at Victoria Park to meet with each other and discuss matters of mutual interest relating to the education and welfare of their children.
– Ensures that, on behalf of their children, parents can have a better understanding on many aspects of school policy and have a voice to shape this in partnership with school staff.
– Develops home, school and external agency partnership working.
– Captures the unique knowledge, skills and experience that parents can offer.
– Embarks on fundraising activities which support and advance the education of children in Victoria Park.
