 Physical Education

Physical education, physical activity and sport stand alone under the heading of Physical Education

Regular physical activity is essential for good health and we provide opportunities for our children to develop positive attitudes both individually and as part of a group, through active living.

Every child receives 2 hours of PE per week. The children experience expressive movement, inventive movement and games skills. There are swimming lessons for P7 classes,

Children throughout the school are also encouraged to keep active during breaks, where we have a timetabled football pitch and trim trail.

Each child also has a skipping rope and is encouraged to use this regularly at breaks. There are also opportunities to be part of our school sports teams including football, netball and athletics.
