Between the ages of five and 16 children spend only 15% of their time in school.

Research shows that when parents are involved in their child’s learning, children do better at school and throughout life.

Parental representation is about helping parents and schools work together as partners in children’s learning.

The main aims of the parent councils are to:

help parents become more involved with their child’s education and learning

encourage parents to participate in the life of the school

You automatically become a member of the parent forum at

St. Elizabeth’s Community Partnership and are entitled to have a say in what happens at the school.
