Art
Art is generally developed in association with other areas of the curriculum, which results in interdisciplinary learning experiences as well as specific skills and techniques being taught from early stages to P7.
These skills include the systematic study of colour, line, shape and texture, and craft skills such as puppetry, model making, collage, printing and needlework.
There are many opportunities for the pupils to explore and reflect the work of a variety of famous artists.
We have also established quality partnerships with professional artists whose expertise supports not only pupils but staff.
